We strive to practice regenerative farming anywhere we can. We grow clover as a cover crop that protects the soil, reduces cutting grass, as well as is a food for the bees. Having bees means we can never use chemical pesticides or herbicides on anything we plant. So rather than spray our blackberries, we use trapping to collect beetles and other pests. These pests are then fed to our chickens as a natural high protein source. In return, the chickens give us eggs and natural fertilizer. We are not 100% organic, but we do what we can and supplement the rest with macrofertilizers that the plants need.
